The great tribes that reside in the lush mountainous areas of the Cordillera Region are the Igorot. There are six groups within the Igorot tribe. They are the Ifugao, Bontoc, Ibaloi, Kalinga and Kankanaey. The Igorots are another tribe renowned for their exceptional technique in the art of weaving.
